One of our knitters, Barbara, is a member of Delta Kappa
Gamma. It is an organization of retired and active teachers. We contributed 30
scarves to bags made for women in a shelter in Hayward. They also got
toiletries, tissues and other special gifts as part of their holiday donation.
They were very grateful for our contributions.
