On 10/2/17 the Karing Knitterswere knitting and a mother from England who was visiting her daughter stopped to see what we were knitting. This woman has 11 grandchildren with two more on the way. Jan (center) immediately gave her two of the crocheted hats she had just finished to give to the newborns. The woman was thrilled and now we can say that our hats are enjoyed internationally!!

Peggy delivered 15 baby hats to Kaiser Walnut Creek on August 2, 2017. She wanted to make sure that the two watermelon themed hats arrived on time for National Watermelon Day which is on August 3rd. The nurses thought that was such as cute idea and LOVED all of the hats we donated. Two of the nurses had just come out of delivery rooms and immediately searched for two baby girl hats.
