Valentine Delivery

 

What an exciting delivery at Kaiser on 2/4/2024! As we were getting ready to deliver the donations, we noticed a young couple with an infant in a baby stroller so asked if she had received a hat and she said, “no”. (We can’t keep up with the demand). So I asked her if she’d like a sweater and hat and she was thrilled since she hadn’t received any hand made items for her baby. She gave me a big hug and told me to thank all the knitters for their generosity.

We delivered 65 baby Christmas hats, 81 general hats, 5 blankets, 12 headbands, and 4 sweater sets to Kaiser Walnut Creek on 12/17/24, just in time for Christmas! Five of the blankets went to NICU and the other one to general Labor and Delivery. The nurses were so thankful to us for our ongoing donations.

  

Big delivery to Kaiser

 November 20, 2023 was a very

 happy day for the Kaiser nurses as we delivered:

47 premie hats

7 blankets

170 general baby hats

5 sweaters

They reiterated how very happy and grateful the 

new parents are when they receive our donations!!

Fall delivery to Kaiser

 Once again, the nurses were thrilled on 1021/23 to receive: 31 Fall hats including 12 pumpkin faced ones, 91 general hats, 2 Halloween Sweater sets, 3 general sweaters and 25 adult Chemo hats for John Muir Oncology department.

Very fun that one new Dad and grandmother were visiting their new babies so I gave each one a Halloween hat. They were thrilled!

 

Happy Birthday to us

 Happy Birthday to us. If my count is correct we have donated 1784 hats, 8 blankets, and 68 sweater sets in our history.🎂

 

We delivered 150 baby hats, 1 baby blanket, and 8 sweater sets to some very happy and appreciative maternity nurses on 9/23/23! All of the nurses were so happy to see all the donations! They were completely out!

We were met with many smiles on August 20, 2023 when wedelivered 131 general baby hats, 30 premie hats, and 4 sweater sets to Kaiser Walnut Creek. The nurses and patients are so appreciative of our ongoing donations.
