Kaiser Delivery and more

 


An early Valentine’s Day Kaiser hat delivery was made on February 4, 2023 to some very happy nurses. We donated 72 valentines themed baby hats, 4 adult hats that matched maybe for Mom and baby, 95 general hats, 2 Valentine sweater sets and 3 general sweater hats.

 

In addition, we delivered 50 more hats to Ukraine!

More Dominations for Kaiser Walnut Creek

 


On 1/27, we donated 50 chemo hats to Kaiser Walnut Creek plus 50 more hats, 1 shawl, and 5 scarves to John Muir Radiation Department. All were so appreciative to receive these very needed items.

Adult Hats

 


The Karing knitters combined with the Rossmoor knitters donated 28 chemo hats to John Muir Oncology department and 25 to be shipped to Ukraine on 1/6/23.

 We know that the recipients will be very grateful to receive these beautiful donations that will keep them warm at this cold time of year.

Our Last Kaiser delivery for 2022

 


On December 18, 2022, we made our last Kaiser hat/blanket/sweater delivery to very grateful nurses. We donated:

40 Chanukah hats (can be used for boys too as they are blue and white)

65 Christmas themed hats

4 Christmas sweater sets

100 General hats

21 NICU and 1 sweater

Hayward Migrant New Comers

 


The Hayward Migrant New Comers including those seeking asylum, and refugees were thrilled to receive 270 items that we knitted and crocheted. Each sweater, hat, scarf, and headband were greatly appreciated.

John Muir Donations

We donated 15 chemo hats, a shawl, and blanket to John Muir oncology department on 12/12/22. The radiologist technician said the patients could really use warm hats at this chilly time of year and was grateful for the donations

You ladies are a blessing.  Working in this department, you see many things that are happy but some very sad, so it feels good when you see a super happy face because of getting a gift that people make from their generous hearts
