John Muir Donations

We donated 15 chemo hats, a shawl, and blanket to John Muir oncology department on 12/12/22. The radiologist technician said the patients could really use warm hats at this chilly time of year and was grateful for the donations

You ladies are a blessing.  Working in this department, you see many things that are happy but some very sad, so it feels good when you see a super happy face because of getting a gift that people make from their generous hearts

karing Knitters Large Donation

Today, 11/12/22 was an especially fun day to deliver: 175 general baby hats, 30 fall themed hats, 30 premie hats, and 4 sweater sets. The nurses couldn’t have been more delighted and asked for my contact information so that they could send us a thank you card..so appreciative!!!

Halloween Delivery

 We delivered 195 baby hats which included 36 Halloween hats, and 159 general hats along with 3 Halloween sweater sets on 10/15/22.The nurses were thrilled since they had totally run out of hats from last month!!

for Trinity Center

 Community Presbyterian Church was  thrilled to receive 60 adult hats and 23 scarves from our stitching groups on 10/1/22. They will distribute these to Trinity Center in Walnut Creek who serve unhoused  clients.

Kaiser Delivery for September

We delivered 128 general baby hats along with 10 premie hats,  2 sweaters, and 15 chemo hats on 9/4. This was an especially fun delivery as we saw a new father on his way to pick up his wife and son and offered him a hat! He was thrilled!! Also, the nurses said they were down to 5 hats and were hoping I’d show up with more!! As always they were super appreciative!!

 

July Delivery

We delivered 122 baby hats

of which 15 were for the NICU babies, two sweater sets, and 6 baby blankets to Kaiser Walnut Creek on 7/31/22. As always, the nurses were thrilled to receive our donations!

One of our members is now accessorizing some of the baby hats....so cute.
