Kaiser Delivery for 4th of July

 

On June 27,2021, we delivered 121 baby hats to Kaiser Walnut Creek  of which 41 were 4th of July themed along with 4 sweaters, 25 premie hats, and 55 general hats. The nurses were so thrilled to receive the donations and told me to be sure to thank all of the donors. The new parents love receiving them!!

Cancer Center Delivery in Dublin

 

 

We made our first delivery of warm adult hats to the Cancer Center at Kaiser in Dublin. The receptionist was very appreciative. She said the patients would love these beautiful knitted hats and would look forward to making them available to them. 

Delivery Time Again

On June 2, 2021, And for the first time since the pandemic began, we were able to deliver, (126 general hats, 8 premie hats, and 4 sweaters) directly to the maternity ward instead of having security deliver them. The nurses were so thrilled to see us again and couldn’t thank us enough for continuing to donate during lock down. Many thanks to all who contributed to this donation. 

Peggy's Fantastic Sweaters

 For sometime now Peggy Fleming (our fearless leader) has been making and donating beautiful baby sweaters. Here is Miss Ellie modeling one.

Happy May Day

 

The generous Karing Knitters delivered 3 sweaters, 130 baby hats of which 45 were for preemies and 85 for full term babies on 5/1/2021.

Easter/Spring Donation

 

 

On March 28, 2021, the Karing Knitters once again gifted 154 baby hats to Kaiser Maternity. The donations included 104 Easter themed hats, 40 general, 10 premie plus 3 sweaters.

HAPPY ST. PAT'S DAY

 

On 3/6/2021, Kaiser was happy to receive 55 St. Patrick’s Day hats along with 3 sweaters and 127 general baby hats, 10 of which were for the NICU center along with one sweater. The security guard thanked us and enjoyed seeing some of our creations. Thank you Karing knitters!
