On August 11, 2021, we made a donation of 48 general baby
hats, 20 premie hats, and 3 sweaters to
Kaiser Walnut Creek. Due to the Delta Variant, we had to ask security to
delivery the hats as we did over most of the pandemic. The fun thing about this
delivery was that a staff member who saw the hats said she received one when
her daughter was born 2 years ago and was thrilled to have the opportunity to
thank us now!!
At a recent meeting of the Karing Knitters at Bagel Street Cafe in San Ramon, we noticed a very expectant young lady. Peggy happened to have one of her famous baby sweaters with her. So she offered it to the mom-to-be and she was thrilled.
