Ann, Rita and Barbara delivered 65 knitted baby hats and 15 adult
hats for chemo patients to the new San Leandro Kaiser today. The receptionists
in both departments were very warm and welcoming. They were thrilled to receive
our donations and said the patients would be too! We were happy to make
contributions to this brand new Kaiser medical office and hospital.
The Karing Knitters donated 31 baby hats on August 18,
2015 to a group of St. Isidore knitters who make lovely 26 piece layettes for
young mothers receiving services from Birth Right Concord and Livermore. They were thrilled to receive them and will
knit booties, blankets, and sweaters to match.
