Many Thanks...

To the Los Altos High School knitting group called The Knit Together Project for their contribution to our collection of hats.

Since their inception they have knitted hats for the homeless and hats that they sell at football games and other events, in the school colors. The money received from the sales has been donated to Burma to help rebuild a school, Haiti after hurricane Katrina and other communities in need of help.

We have been busy

Peggy, is shown here with Kim Clivers, a counselor, dropping off hats and pillowcases for the foster children under the care of Youth Homes.

After lunch with the group, Anne, Harriet, and Barbara were at Kaiser Hospital in
Walnut Creek to deliver 45 baby caps as well as adult and child hats to the chemo department.

St Anthony's for Christmas 2010

Here are some of the over 60 scarves we were able to donate to St Anthony's in San Francisco for Christmas gifts 2010.  And, a couple of our knitters on en route to deliver them.
