Another Kaiser visit

 

     We donated 110 general and 22 premie hats to Kaiser Walnut Creek on 9/15/21 and know how thrilled the recipients will be once they receive them.

Kaiser Donation

 

On August 11, 2021, we made a donation of 48 general baby hats, 20 premie hats,  and 3 sweaters to Kaiser Walnut Creek. Due to the Delta Variant, we had to ask security to delivery the hats as we did over most of the pandemic. The fun thing about this delivery was that a staff member who saw the hats said she received one when her daughter was born 2 years ago and was thrilled to have the opportunity to thank us now!!

SUPRISE FOR MOM-TO-BE

    At a recent  meeting of the Karing Knitters at Bagel Street Cafe in San Ramon, we noticed a very expectant young lady. Peggy happened to have one of her famous baby sweaters with her. So she offered it to the mom-to-be and she  was thrilled.

Kaiser Delivery for 4th of July

 

On June 27,2021, we delivered 121 baby hats to Kaiser Walnut Creek  of which 41 were 4th of July themed along with 4 sweaters, 25 premie hats, and 55 general hats. The nurses were so thrilled to receive the donations and told me to be sure to thank all of the donors. The new parents love receiving them!!

Cancer Center Delivery in Dublin

 

 

We made our first delivery of warm adult hats to the Cancer Center at Kaiser in Dublin. The receptionist was very appreciative. She said the patients would love these beautiful knitted hats and would look forward to making them available to them. 

Delivery Time Again

On June 2, 2021, And for the first time since the pandemic began, we were able to deliver, (126 general hats, 8 premie hats, and 4 sweaters) directly to the maternity ward instead of having security deliver them. The nurses were so thrilled to see us again and couldn’t thank us enough for continuing to donate during lock down. Many thanks to all who contributed to this donation.
